The cheapest hour you will ever spend on a used car is the one before you pay for it. We inspect the car, fill in our sheet, and hand it to you — and we have no stake in whether you buy it.
Pre-purchase inspection
A full check of the car you are thinking of buying: engine and transmission condition, evidence of past accident repair, rust, brakes, tyres, steering, suspension, electrics, and a diagnostic scan for stored fault codes the seller may have cleared. You get the completed sheet, and a straight answer about what you are looking at.
Pre-trip inspection
Before a long drive, the things that strand you are largely predictable: tyres including the spare, fluid levels and condition, belts and hoses, battery and charging, brakes, lights, and anything already making a noise you have been ignoring. We check all of it and tell you what needs doing before you set off rather than on the roadside.
What you get
- Our own written vehicle inspection sheet, completed and signed
- Findings graded — safe, needs attention soon, or do not drive it
- A diagnostic scan included, with the stored codes listed
- A plain verbal summary, so you are not decoding jargon on your own
